911 For the Hearts of Men

Research shows that -- as of 2019:

• 68% of church-going men, 25% of Christian women, and over 50% of pastors view porn on a regular basis.
• 76% of young Christian adults (18-24 years old) actively search for porn.
• And this was BEFORE the pandemic!

 

This is a HUGE issue in the church today. Think about it: Most of the men, and many of the women, in our churches are struggling with disappointment in their own sex lives, and struggles with the temptations of sensuality that are available online, on TV, and on their cell phones.

 

BUT ALSO, KEEP THIS IN MIND: men are facing challenges and struggles in a variety of ways today, not just related to sex. In fact, as you know, the very idea of masculinity as a healthy and godly construct is in question. What in the world is "NON-toxic masculinity"? 

 

So I am building a community of men who are committed to personal, spiritual, and relational renewal … and who recognize that in order for this to happen -- given the distractions and temptations of today's world -- they need to become the "masters" of their sex drive, rather than its slave (I Cor 6:12).

 

This live event -- "911 For the Hearts of Men" -- consists of three live-streamed teaching sessions, on September 11,13, and 15. You can view from your home on the evenings they stream live, or watch the recording at another time.

Each session will last about 45 minutes, and will include notes to help people follow along.
